Lemon Art — The Fruit and the Imaginary

What if the imaginary took precedence over the real? This exhibition, which never took place, gathers the pieces of a world in which the lemon has contaminated iconography: the Louvre tower transfigured into citrus, still lifes overtaken by zest and acidity, landscapes flooded with the yellow light of the fruit. Each image measures the victory of a fruit over the setting that surrounded it.
